The Arizona Options Group is one of the largest and most established investment clubs in Scottsdale. Their primary focus is technical analysis of the financial markets, such as stocks, etfs, mutual funds, futures, and options.

You're going to be impressed with quality of guest speakers and the number of investors/traders who attend these monthly meetings in Scottsdale. Wayne Spangler is in charge of arranging the meetings and booking speakers.

Many successful traders belong to this group and most are willing to share their knowledge with other traders. In addition to national guest speakers, volunteers from the group may present trading techniques, tips, and strategies that have worked well for them.

This is truely a group of traders helping traders. Some trade full time. Some are part timers. Some are just curious and not ready to trade yet. You'll find long term traders, swing traders, day traders, ... stock traders, futures, options, bonds, mutual funds, ... anything related to the financial markets.

Technical analysis and some fundamental analysis is discussed but the primary focus is learning how to read stock charts, technical analysis, and how to time your investments to maximize your profits.

Every month the theme is different. Information can include technical analysis, how to use indicators, stop placement, risk management, reviews of software packages, how to trade options, futures, stocks, ... tax information for traders, ... anything that would be of interest to the majority of traders.

As large as this group is, they don't have a website. The best way to find out when and where the meetings are is to bookmark this page and visit often. We get the meeting annoucements a three or four days before the meeting and we post the information on this page as soon as we get it.

Everyone that is interested in trading or investing is welcome to attend. Nothing is bought, sold, or promoted at these meetings. Meetings are held purely for educational purposes only so that traders can exchange ideas and sharpen their skills.

This is a non profit organization and there is a small yearly membership fee to join the group. This covers the facility rentals, coffee, cookies, pastries, etc. that is provided at no extra cost during each meeting. The cost to join is less than a meal at a nice restaurant.
