The Paragon dance center is a very large dance studio located on the SE corner of Elliot and Rural in Tempe AZ. It's been a popular place to dance in the Phoenix area for many years. It's easy to get to from the I-10, the 60, or the 101 highways.

No partner is necessary to take dance lessons but you can bring one. Group dance lessons are very popular at the Paragon. Every minute or two you'll have a new partner. It's an excellent way to meet many people very quickly.

Group dance lessons are very inexpensive and fun. Compared to private dance lessons which can cost up to $100/hour, you can get one to two hours of group dance lessons usually for less than $10. +- Sometimes a dance is included after the lessons at no extra charge

The Paragon doesn't look very big from the outside but inside it's one of the largest dance studios in Arizona. I estimate that the main dance floor is 6000 to 8000 sq ft. and there's a smaller floor that's about 1500 sq ft +-. The hardwood floors are excellent to dance on and the large mirrors on the walls give you an opportunity to see what you look like on the dance floor.

Almost every day, there's something going on at the Paragon. Private dance lessons, group dance lessons, dances of all types. The most popular nights are Friday and Sunday.
